The U.S. Federal Census Collection features data from every available federal census, 1790 through 1940.
Local history books provide millions of digitized pages from 28,000 family histories, local histories, and related resources.
The Revolutionary War Pension collection contains files for American military, naval, and marine officers and their dependents.
The Freedman’s Bank Records contains names of bank applicants and their dependents from 1865–1874, helping people trace their African American ancestors.
The U.S. Congressional Serial Set records the memorials, petitions, and private relief actions made to the U.S. Congress back to 1789.
